I met with bike accident recently and my eyes were red in color with blood clot for few days. When i went to a doctor and checked my eyes, he prescribed eye drops Tobrasone . I have been using it for more than 10 days and my vision got worse every day. I have stopped using it now. But I get head ache often and the doctor said that it is due to raise in IOP in eyes and this is due to steroid in the medicine. I have IOP of 50 in one eye and 34 in the other. Also, I have blurred vision now. I don't have power in eyesight and my vision used to be very clear before using this medicine(even after the accident). Am getting so worried about my vision. Can some one help me understand what is happening with my eyes and will my vision be normal again? Please help me.

I think the rise in IOP is due to the blood clot in your eye or eyes. I don't think the steroid you are using could cause that kind of pressure increase. I think he should use a different steroid not because it is causing the pressure spike but because it is not controlling inflammation well enough.

When you say a doctor, is it an eye doctor at the eye hospital?

Steroid eye drops can increase the eye pressure, as I use steroid eye drops and I do have glaucoma. Although steroid eye drops also reduce the inflammation.

As your eye pressure is so high, make sure you are under an eye doctor at the "local eye hospital", not just a general doctor or an optician.

An eye doctor needs to do something to lower your eye pressure.

50 & 34 are definitely too high. is someone taking you OFF of the "tobrasone" (which contains FML - a steroid that can cause high IOP)?

steroid-induced-glaucoma. you need to get off the FML, or switch to some other steroid (like Lotemax) or something

1. delete all the temporary files. run > %temp% > delete all the files. 2. only install those softwares which are required 3. do not store any personal or other matter on the C drive. 4. Do not store too many files on your desktop. 5. Remove the unwanted start up files. run > msconfig > start up > deselect the unwanted. 6. Full Scan your computer every week to Keep it free of virus. For that you need to have a full/licensed version of a good anti virus. 7. Increase the speed of RAM Have a 1GB DDR RAM atleast. 8. Defragment the disks. start > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter. 9. Do not open too many pages/ files at the same time.
