Since you just got a new prescription and your old glasses give you headaches it is definitely time to get new glasses. Take a friend or an adult whos opinion you respect and go to several eyewear places. Try on different styles and look at prices. If you like a style that is too expensive look for one like it by a different company that's cheaper. The cost of the new lenses will be about the same wherever you go and some places have good specials from time to time. The frames are what will break the budget.

Just get glasses that fit in and yes it looks as if you will need new glasses. Glasses aren't a bad thing both my parents wear them and no one even notices. It just helps them see. Don't worry about not fitting in because soon enough everyone will just look beyond your glasses and see you.

yes if your glasses give you headaches that means your perscription is probably wrong I would go back and get reexamined
