It could be from so much focusing with all of the book work and lack of sleep. However, if you switched a contact lens that was supposed to go in your Left eye into your right or visa versa that could cause it too. If you have different prescriptions in each eye and you put the contact in the wrong eye it could cause blurry vision, especially if you have similar powers in either eye. I would make sure that I have the correct prescription in each eye, and then if you are still having the same issue, contact your optometrist. There are many different causes to blurry vision, and the sooner you get it figured out and corrected, the better off you will be. Also, I would consider having a pair of glasses made with your most recent prescription in them. If you are not getting as much sleep and studying a lot, it will help your eyes not get so tired.

When I was 7 months pregnant with my youngest son I had those same symptoms. The first thing I thought was a heart attack. I was rushed to the emergency room. They hooked me up to fetal monitors, heart monitors, pulse and blood pressure. In the end here's what happened. Everytime they would lay the bed back to where I was starting to lay down, I would have blurred vision, chest pain, trouble breathing, and weakness in my muscles. I felt like I was an experiment. They did the up down thing about 15 times showing different nurses and Dr.s what was happening. Turns out my heart was beating at over 210 beats per minute. Every time I would lay back. Its called Tachycardia. And they put me on Lopressor I believe it was called. Havent had trouble since. And have been off the meds for 3 1/2 years. You need to make an appointment with your regular Dr. It could be so many things. Even if you're ok now...you should go. Better to be safe than sorry Right? Good luck.

RE:

What causes Blurred Vision and sudden appearances of Halos around Lights?

Just this morning, after having arrived at my first class of the day, I noticed that the vision in my right eye was a bit off. It seemed cloudy, and when I compared it to the vision in my other eye, I realized that I was seeing halos, or, in this sense, more like orbs surrounding light sources....

Most people believe that once they are diagnosed with some vision problem and start wearing eye glasses or contact lenses to correct them, they will have to do so for life in order to see better. Those who want a permanent solution to improve eyesight typically resort to Lasik or other corrective eye surgeries. But you you can also improve your vision without surgery and can see perfectly well without using eyeglasses or contact lenses. You can check here to know how https://tr.im/d5f13

Go and see your doctor! Halos can be caused by a few problems. I think that they can be a sign of glaucoma (try googling it to see if your symptoms match.) I had halos/bright lights a few months ago caused by migraine - but without the headache!! At the time I was exhausted and hadn't been sleeping well, too. Blurred vision can also be caused by dry eyes. There are a number of reasons and the chances are your problem may not be serious, but don't take any chances! Yor eyes are too precious to mess with. Make an appointment with your doctor or optician as soon as possible!
