I really need new glasses, but my mom won't let me order some?

Okay, so I really need new glasses. The problem with the glasses I have now is : the lenses aren't working for my eyesight anymore and my glasses are worn out and broken because I've been using the same ones for 2 years. My mom doesn't believe me and I really need glasses. The ones I have are pretty much useless for me to use and I can't even see medium sized font 3 feet away from it. So, how do I convince my mom to let me order new glasses? The glasses I want are Ray-Ban RX 5121, by the way.

Quit trying to get expensive frames, those sound expensive. Get the superman glasses now, and buy some nice sets when you have the cash.



Get your teachers to side with you. If you have to drive, convince her that you can't drive without them.



See if a church will help you out with the money to get some.



Call local optometrists (eye doctors) and see if they help people in need.

well it sounds like you NEED new lenses but you WANT new frames.

she probably thinks you just WANT the new frames but you don't really NEED the new lenses. a simple trip to the eye dr would convince her that you actually NEED new lenses.

i'm sure unless you are very irresponsible with the frames that they aren't that worn out after just 2 years. my parents only get new frames once every 5 yrs if that.
