My eye hurts REALLY bad and I'm worried something serious could be wrong, does anyone know if Urgent Care takes care of eye problems, like eye infections? If not how much would a eye doctor cost

Urgent cares are very similar to ERs, with the exception of not being able to treat life-threatening injuries. If it hurts really bad, you can go in and see an Urgent Care. If they can't fully treat it, they will refer you to an eye specialist. You have to understand that most Urgent Care Doctors are from the ER field, so they have a great understanding of the body and would be able to treat things like eye infections. If its more complicated, they will refer you to a specialist. But each urgent care is going to be different, I know Provident Immediate cares are terrible. but I have used an Urgent care called Doctors Express in Portland and they were amazing. The doctor seemed to know more than my primary care doctor. If you have one in your area, go to it. Its worth it.

I saw an Urgent Care doctor once because my eye was swollen, red, goopy and itched really bad. It took a little longer for him to figure out that I had some bad abrasions on my eye but he got me some drops that numbed my eye while I was in the office then prescribed an anti-inflammatory, antibiotic and a pain relieving eye drop. Last week I had the same problem (this was about a year later, completely different cause for the abrasion) but this time I saw the optometrist I work for and he did the exact same thing the Urgent Care doctor did except he did it in about 10 minutes. I used Bromday and Zymaxid this last time to help it heal. If you have health insurance then I would see someone that accepts your insurance like a private practice optometrist, ophthalmologist or the Urgent Care clinic. This way your insurance will help pay for this since it is technically a medical evaluation.

If you go to urgent care, make sure you go to an eye doctor in the next day or two for follow up, as the urgent care docs do not have the expertise and equipment to always make the correct diagnosis. If your problem does not get better on the treatment prescribed, you do not want to wait too long to get different treatment.

Urgent care centers provide a lot of medical services and treat a large number of critical health conditions including your eye related problems. Urgent care doctors will understand your problem and treat your eye infections very carefully. In some cases, if they can’t fix your problem, they will refer you to an eye specialist.

There are several methods to improve quickly and naturally eye sight... To know how to do that you can find here a compelte method based on researches done by some scientist, for a cheap price:
http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=413
I can give you just some tips but I suggest to give a look to the method that i posted above...for example you can take more food that contains vitamin A such as carrots may help to naturally improve your eye sight. We can also always do exercises. There are exercises such as rolling your eyeball to form an invisible square that are always recommended by the doctors to improve one's eyesight. I don't know about quickly as there is no fast way to reach one's goal.
Vegetarians can help to improve one's eye sight. I believe it because I am a vegetarian and my eye short-sightedness power remains the same without any increase after about 2 years. The doctor was shocked because teenagers at my years will usually have a most increase since we are always watching TV, playing computers and also reading. I do not know whether it is totally true or not but it does affect a bit on the result.
Anyway i suggest to check the link that i posted :) It worked for me
Hope it helps.

Do NOT go to urgent care...for anything...ever! Go see and ophthalmologist (every walmart has one) it will probably be the same price and you will get much better care!

They do take care. You should call them immediately. However not so sure how it is in your country.
