can you really get pink eye from a pillow that someone had recently farted on?

i dont remember which movie this was in, but in the movie two people talked about how people could get pink eye if they lie on a pillow that someone else farted on. i always thought it was a myth but my boyfriend seems to think it is a true fact, so i would love to know if its true or just a joke

Haha. This is the second time that I've seen this question on here. No, you can't get pink eye caused by someone farting on your pillow. You can get it from viruses, bacteria, allergens, or chemicals. What movie was that? It was one of those pot-head movies, but I can't remember which one either...

Lol. That can't be true. Pink eye is caused by viruses or bacteria. Farts are a form of a waste (gas) from the human body. It doesn't really linger long enough.
