How can you tell if a person is wearing contacts or if his eye color is real or not?

I was just wondering because I recently came across a black person with blue eyes and asked her if they were real or not. She told me they were real but I find that hard to believe because they were really light blue.

How can you tell the difference so I can tell if someone is lying or not?

You can tell if someone is wearing contacts if you look really, really closely at their eyes. If they're wearing contacts you can see a ring outside of the iris.

It really depends. there is actually a layer of shiny part on the eyes. If u wear contacts then u will noe wht i means.
